REFUNDS & RETURNS
Because our products are super personal, all sales are final—no returns, please! If you happen to receive the wrong item, don’t worry! We’ll happily issue a refund. For everything else, store credit is your golden ticket to shop again!
ORDER PROCESSING
Herpothecary.com accepts orders 24 hours a day, every day of the week. Orders are processed in the order they are received and shipped within 7-10 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) and up to 20 business days during the holiday season. All orders are shipped from our location in Brandywine, MD via USPS Priority/Ground Mail. Tracking information is provided once your shipping label has been created. Please allow a full 24-48 hours for your tracking information to be updated once notified.
PRE-ORDERS
Just a heads up: if you order a readily available item along with a pre-order item, your entire order will ship within the given processing window (see above) after the pre-order date. We do this to save you from extra shipping costs by sending everything together.
Please keep in mind, during busy sales and the holiday season, processing times may take up to 20 business days. Thanks for your patience!
SHIPPING
The day your order ships doesn’t count as a transit day. USPS Priority typically delivers within 2-3 business days, depending on your state. However, during the busy holiday season, there may be delays that are out of our hands. Thanks for understanding!
FREE SHIPPING
At Herpothecary.com, you can enjoy free USPS Standard shipping on single orders with a subtotal of $130.00 or more (excluding tax and any other discounts). Please note that free shipping applies to individual transactions only, not to combined orders.
MELTED PRODUCTS
During warm months, our whipped body butters might get a little too cozy in transit! By choosing to purchase, you’re aware that melted goodies can’t be refunded or replaced.
But don’t worry—if your butter does melt, it’s still perfectly good! Just pop it in the fridge or freezer, give it a little mix with a hand mixer, and you’re back in business!
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
We’re not responsible for packages marked as 'delivered' but haven’t quite found their way into your hands yet. If you’ve checked in with your local USPS office and your package is still missing, you may need to file a mail theft report with the US Postal Inspector and let your local police department know, just in case there was an unfortunate case of package-napping.
If we choose to resend the item, we kindly ask that you cover the shipping costs for the new shipment. We’re here to help however we can, and hopefully, this little mystery will be solved soon!
DELAYS
While we do our best to keep things moving smoothly, we can’t take responsibility for any holiday traffic jams, weather hiccups, or mishaps along the way. We’re happy to combine orders if you'd like, though it might mean a little extra for shipping and a bit more time for us to get everything packed up and ready to go. Thanks for your understanding—we’re here to make it all as seamless as possible.
APO OR FPO ADDRESSES
Because all mail delivered to an APO or FPO address is a joint effort between USPS and the Military Postal Service, please expect delays. Transit times depend on operational conditions as well as the unit of the addressee.
DAMAGED PRODUCTS
Getting your order to you quickly and carefully packed is our top priority! We send all packages insured with USPS Priority Mail for extra peace of mind. While we can’t control what happens once it’s in their hands, if anything arrives less than perfect, we’re here to help. Just send us a quick photo of any damaged items within 2 days to hello@herpothecary.com, and we’ll work together to make it right!
WRONG ADDRESSES
Give that shipping address a quick double-check! If your package comes back to us due to a little address mix-up, we’ll reach out to confirm the right one. A small reshipping fee will apply to get it back on its way to you. Thanks for helping us keep things moving smoothly.
PACKAGES MARKED AS "DELIVERED" BUT MISSING
We totally get how frustrating it is when carriers mark a package as 'delivered' when it’s actually still out there on an adventure! In most cases, these sneaky shipments tend to show up within 5-6 days after the false alarm.
Still no package in sight? It might be time to reach out to the carrier directly—once it’s on its way, Herpothecary doesn’t have control over deliveries. Use your tracking number to start a claim with USPS by visiting their website or calling 1-800-275-8777.
Once you have a claim number, just contact our customer support team, and we’ll be glad to assist you from there.
